As an IoT Product Development Intern, you’ll work closely with our engineering and R&D teams to bring smart devices to life. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing IoT systems using SoCs like ESP12, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
2. Interfacing various sensors and actuators with SoCs for real-time data acquisition and control.
3. Writing efficient, modular, and well-documented firmware or embedded software.
4. Conducting functionality testing of both hardware and software in lab environments.
5. Troubleshooting issues related to connectivity, performance, and sensor accuracy.
6. Installing and managing prototype devices at live test sites.
7. Gathering and analyzing performance metrics and user feedback for optimization.
8. Implementing hardware/software updates based on test findings.
9. Maintaining thorough documentation of development and testing processes.
10. Assisting in the creation of user manuals and technical guides.
We're looking for motivated individuals with a strong foundation in embedded systems and a curiosity for real-world applications. Ideal candidates should:
1. Have hands-on experience with microcontrollers/SoCs that support WiFi (ESP32, NodeMCU, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
2. Be proficient in C, C++, or Python
3. Know how to interface digital/analog sensors and actuators via GPIO
4. Understand basic communication protocols: MQTT, HTTP, I2C, SPI
5. Be familiar with circuit design and debugging tools like oscilloscopes or multimeters
6. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Be team players with good communication and documentation skills
8. Have a basic understanding of IoT platforms (Arduino, NodeMCU, etc.) and cloud integration
9. Appreciate the importance of power management in low-energy devices
During this internship, you'll get exposure to key industry skills and can even earn certifications in:
